Application Instructions
There are 5 sets of fields in the Application:
•Contact Information (Required fields have an asterisk "*". Everyone must fill out, including competitors)
•FESTIVAL Attendee Fields (NO competitors)
•Private Lesson Fields (FESTIVAL/COMPETITOR)
•Master Class Fields (FESTIVAL/COMPETITOR)
•COMPETITOR Fields (Can add Festival, Master Class, Private Lessons)
Applications:
Applications will be accepted on a first-come/first-served basis. You may pay by Venmo, PayPal or by check. Checks payable to “Gulf Coast Guitar Association”

Tuition Packages:
All Festival Attendees (except Competitors Only) receive:
•Entry to all Classes and Workshops on the Schedule
•Private Lessons (at the higher tuition fee)
•Free Admission to Evening Concerts Friday and Saturday
•Admittance to Master Class audience
•Free Lasagna Dinner and Open-Mic Night - Thursday, June 15
Competitors Only, receive:
•Student Pricing ($5) for Evening Concerts Friday and Saturday
• Free Admittance to Master Class Audience
•$30 to play in a Master Class (if available after full-festival students sign up)
Festival Fees:
•$450 Festival with private lessons (includes concert tickets)
•$300 Festival without private lessons (includes concert tickets)
•To Perform in Master Class (12 slots) – add $30
•Member of Master Class Audience – Included in Festival Fee
Master Class:
•Performers in a Master Class pay an additional $30.
•You must be enrolled in the Festival or in the Competition to play in Master Class
•Dr. Richard Savino will give his class Friday, June 16, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
•Dr. David Chapman and the Ibison Duo will give their class Saturday, June 17, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
•The class consists of instruction to players with an audience that learns by observation.
•There are 4 slots available to perform in each class. Slots will be assigned on a first-come/first-served basis. (12 slots total)
•To perform, you must be able to play a solo piece all the way through.
Private Lessons:
•Private Lessons are available 10:00 am – 12:00 pm June 13, 14, & 15.
•You must be enrolled in the Festival (Competitors can add the festival) to receive private lessons.
•Faculty for private lessons are Dr. Richard Savino, Dr. David Chapman, Dr. Chad Ibison, Dr.Janet Grohovac, Dr. Jay Kacherski, Prof. Jeremy García, Prof. Eddie Healy, Prof. Andrea Cannon and Georgina Ramos Avalos (beginners).
Competition Entry Fees:
The Competition is Virtual for All Divisions.
Artist Division - $100
Add:
•Festival - $450 with private lessons, (Competition fee waived) Total: $450
•Festival - $300 without private lessons + Competition Fee: Total: $400
High School Division - $35
Add:
•Festival With Private Lessons $450, Waive Competition Fee: $450
•Festival Without Private Lessons- $300, Includes Competition Fee: $335
Middle School Division - $25
Add:
•Festival With Private Lessons $450, Waive Competition Fee: $450
•Festival Without Private Lessons- $300, Includes Competition Fee: $325
Musicale Rating - $20
For students who do not wish to enter a competition, but would like to play for faculty and receive a rating with comments on areas that may need more attention as well as areas where they excel.
Requires enrollment in the full 6-day Festival. Add the festival fee that applies to you.
