Application for Festival, Master Classes, Competition

There are 5 sets of fields in the Application:
•Contact Information (Required fields have an asterisk "*". Everyone must fill out, including competitors)
•FESTIVAL Attendee Fields (Not required for competitors)
•Private Lesson Fields (FESTIVAL/COMPETITOR)
•Master Class Fields (FESTIVAL/COMPETITOR)
•COMPETITOR Fields (Can add Festival, Master Class, Private Lessons)
Applications will be accepted on a first-come/first-served basis. You may pay by Venmo, Paypal or by check. Checks payable to “Gulf Coast Guitar Association”

All Houston Classical Guitar Festival & Competition participants receive:
•Entry to all Classes and Workshops on the Schedule
•Admittance to Master Class audience
•Free Admission to Evening Concerts Thursday, Friday and Saturday
•Additional fees for Private Lessons or to play in a Master Class
Festival only - No Private Lessons –
•$100 with Student ID
•$150 Community Rate (adults no longer in school, no age limit)
•To Perform in Master Class (4 slots) – add $30
•Member of Master Class Audience – Included in Festival Fee
•Performers in a Master Class pay an additional $30.
•You must be enrolled in the Festival or in the Competition to take a Master Class
•Prof. René Izquierdo will give the class June 19, 3:00pm -4:30 pm.
•The class consists of instruction to players with an audience that learns by observation.
•There are 4 slots available to perform that will be assigned on a first-come /first-served basis.
•To perform, you must be able to play a solo piece all the way through.
•If chosen to perform, you must send a PDF of your music the morning of June 19 to René Izquierdo (firstname.lastname@example.org)
•Please be logged in 5 minutes early!
•Keep your Zoom connection on Mute until it is your turn.
•The instructor will admit you when he is ready.
Private Lessons – $50/50-minute lesson (NOTE: René Izquierdo $100/50-minute lesson)
•Lessons available during the two weeks: June 14 thru June 25.
•You must be enrolled in the Festival or the Competition to receive private lessons.
•You may purchase as many lessons as you wish with the instructor(s) of your choice: René Izquierdo (limit of 3 students total), Gabriel Santiago, Jay Kacherski, Jeremy García, Eddie Healy, Andrea Cannon, and Clara McLain (beginners)
•When you apply and your fee is paid, your email will be sent to your chosen instructor(s) who will contact you to set up your lesson time.
