MEALS
Monday thru Friday there is an option for meals at the “all-you-can-eat” Moody Dining Commons just across the street from Cougar I. If you like a full breakfast, this is very handy. Breakfast is served beginning at 7:30 am. We begin our mornings at the festival at 10 am to avoid rush-hour traffic. We usually eat lunch and dinner together or in groups at various places near the festival venue.
Sample Continental Breakfast: Hot cakes, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patty, tater tots, oatmeal, fruit, pastry assortment and vegan options available.
•Breakfast: $9
•Lunch: $11.50
•Dinner: $11.50
+20% administration fee.
UH contracts separately with a company that runs the dining services. As we are a small group, we don’t need a pre-purchased Dining Pass. You may use your own credit card when eating in Moody Dining Commons.
FLYING TO HOUSTON
HOU (Houston Hobby Airport) is closer to UH campus.
IAH (George Bush Intercontinental Airport) is 30 miles north. Uber and Lyft will be more expensive.
If you will not have a car at the festival, we will pair you with another attendee to carpool to/from the venue each day.
